A clearer way to find treatment
Finding treatment is hard for reasons that have nothing to do with the person looking. Information is scattered, terminology is opaque, and too much of the search happens while someone is frightened and in a hurry. Find Your Recovery exists to make that process less confusing and more honest.
Our mission
To help individuals and families understand treatment options, make informed decisions, and connect with appropriate resources. We do that by building a directory that is honest about what it knows, and by staffing a team whose job is to explain rather than to sell.
Education before pressure
Treatment is a decision, not a transaction. We explain what each level of care involves so you can make an informed choice — and we never promise an outcome.
We label what we have not confirmed
A directory is only useful if you can trust it. Where we have not confirmed a detail with a facility, we mark it as pending rather than fill the gap with a guess.
Honest about our role
We are a directory and connection resource, not a treatment provider. We may be compensated by partner facilities, and we disclose that plainly.
How we work
We build relationships with treatment facilities across the country and publish a profile for each once we have confirmed its details. Until that confirmation happens, the profile shows only what we know for certain — typically the facility name, its official website, and its type — and it carries a pending verification label.
Our educational content is written for this website and reviewed for accuracy. We do not copy treatment-center marketing copy, and we do not publish thin pages built to rank for a keyword.
What we will not do
- We do not invent facility details, accreditations, or clinical services.
- We do not publish testimonials, ratings, or reviews we cannot substantiate.
- We do not guarantee insurance coverage, admission, bed availability, or outcomes.
- We do not share your inquiry with a treatment facility unless you ask us to.
- We do not sell your personal information or use inquiry content for advertising.
- We do not use fear, shame, or manufactured urgency to move you toward a decision.
For treatment providers
If you operate a treatment program and would like to be considered for the directory, or you need to correct something on an existing profile, visit our provider page. Inclusion is not automatic, and we verify details before publishing them.
Find Your Recovery does not diagnose conditions, provide medical or clinical advice, or determine the appropriate level of care for any individual. If you are in crisis, call or text 988; for immediate danger, call 911.
Taking the first step can start with a conversation.
Explore treatment options, ask questions, and learn what resources may be available to you or someone you love.
